2007 Texas Wireless Summit Dates Announced

The 5th annual Texas Wireless Summit has been set for October 18th & 19th. The event will be held at the downtown Hilton, in Austin, Texas. The 2006 Texas Wireless Summit was held on September 26- 27, 2006 in downtown Austin, Texas.

Prominent speakers included Dick Lynch, Dr. Sandeep Chennakeshu, Dr. Sanjay Jha and Paul Struhsaker. Over 300 people attended the conference, which was presented for the first time as a series of round table discussions.

"The quality of the content and the caliber of the speakers have clearly established the Summit as one the leading wireless events in country," said Erin Defosse, Director of the Austin Wireless Alliance and organizer of the 2006 event. "It showcases the technical and business innovation happening in the industry and has become a place where senior executives, academics, government and policy leaders attend to maximize the opportunities presented by the growth of the industry."
