The 1st Annual Winedale Workshop on Signals & Systems

The three research universities in Texas – Rice, Texas A&M and The University of Texas at Austin-- came together to co-organize a one day tutorial/workshop event in historic Winedale, Texas on cutting edge issues in the domains of wireless communications, networking and systems.

This event was held on Oct 17th and consisted of two tutorials and multiple research talks by faculty members from the three universities. Several WNCG faculty participated in the event.

Winedale, TX is roughly equidistant from the three schools and is an ideal retreat with a rustic and wooded landscape.

The three universities plan on retreating once a year to Winedale to discuss research and to build a collaborative research environment amongst them.
