Rappaport Reports
As part of his work with the Mid Atlantic Broadband Cooperative in Virginia, Rappaport is working with numerous companies and organizations to help bring broadband access to remote regions of the state. Already, they have identified several tower sites for broadband access providers, have provided analysis that is helping rural wireless internet service providers, and have helped two high schools upgrade their bandwidth from conventional T1 service to 20 MBps service, at lower cost for their campuses than they had been paying previously. Professor Rappaport also successfully completed his first marathon run this past February; Ted was one of just over 5,000 runners who participated in the AT&T Austin Marathon.
