WNCG Announces 2004 Wireless Networking Symposium Call for Papers

FCC Wireless Bureau Chief John Muleta was among the plenary speakers at the 2003 event.The Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG) has cemented its place as a leading wireless research center with its international Wireless Networking Symposium, a three-day event featuring the latest technologies and business developments in the field of wireless communications.

On October 20-22, 2004, the second annual WNCG Wireless Networking Symposium will be held at the Omni Hotel in beautiful downtown Austin. Over 400 research and business leaders from around the world are expected to attend. Plan on joining this exciting conference to learn the latest happenings in wireless networking and communications! The symposium will open with a welcome reception on Wednesday night, October 20, that will feature insights from a panel of top regulatory leaders, technologists, and business pioneers on the future trends and challenges of wireless communications. The events on Thursday morning, October 21, will begin with panel discussions by wireless industry leaders, followed by plenary talks in the afternoon. Confirmed speakers for the event include:

  • Joseph Evans, NSF, Programmable Wireless Networks Program
Friday will allow attendees to attend any of four parallel sessions that focus on different aspects of wireless technology. Evening events will showcase Austin's charm, and its position as a leading high-tech city.

This world-class wireless conference will feature selected technical and business presentations, and you are invited to submit a high quality original contribution for presentation and publication at the conference. Original abstracts will be accepted for consideration until July 15, 2004.
