WNCG Announces 2005 Wireless Networking Symposium

March 25, 2005 -- The Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG), part of the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at The University of Texas at Austin has cemented its place as a leading wireless research center with their international Wireless Networking Symposium, a three-day event featuring the latest technologies and business developments in the field of wireless communications.
On October 26-28, 2005, the third annual WNCG Wireless Networking Symposium will be held at the elegant and historic Driskill Hotel, located right in the heart of 6th Street in beautiful downtown Austin. Over 400 research and business leaders from around the world are expected to attend. Plan on joining this exciting conference to learn the latest happenings in wireless networking and communications. The symposium will open with a welcome reception on Wednesday night, October 26, that will feature insights from a panel of top regulatory leaders, technologists, and business pioneers on the future trends and challenges of wireless communications. The events on Thursday morning, October 27, will begin with panel discussions by wireless industry leaders, followed by plenary talks in the afternoon. Friday will allow attendees to attend any of four technical parallel sessions that focus on different aspects of wireless technology or the Austin Wireless Alliance (AWA) Business Form, designed to bring together technologists, entrepreneurs, and business leaders to discuss future growth opportunities in the wireless industry.
This world-class wireless conference will feature selected technical presentations, and you are invited to submit a high quality original contribution for presentation and publication at the conference. Original abstracts will be accepted for consideration until July 1, 2005.
